I just rewatched Forgetting Sarah Marshall and remembered how many hilarious people are in that movie. Also, Jason Segel hangs dong twice?! It truly was a golden era. I think it's, just now, long enough ago that we only remember the good ones. For every Superbad and Napoleon Dynamite, there were 20-ish god awful comedies. that was terrible then and have aged to be even worse. That paired with there not being many Comedy features at all in recent years. But there's an explosion of incredible comedy series'. The recession happened. The studios didn’t want to spend blockbuster money on comedies anymore so they focused on things like Iron Man and lower budget films. It was actually mentioned in the article and they explained all of that.

Another strange tale from the arctic regions: Many years ago my dad was working on an engineering project in Kangerlussuaq - the location of Greenland's biggest airport. Same. Although I didn’t get to do much gaming during my treatments... my chemo and immunotherapy regimen required Benadryl so I slept during a good portion of my treatment time. I guess it’s just not something that I ever really thought about before, but it’s really cool to know there are so many other people out there like myself that have gone through this and bond over gaming. If I remember correctly it’s a reference to the founding myth of Rome. There’s a response where the wishes say “kill it” or something to that effect. The right answer is “thanks” it recalls the mother wolf who keeps her child safe with her mouth.
