It's pretty easy to figure out how it is nicer for someone who spends more time awake near sunrise to have more daylight hours near sunrise than sunset... I can't for the life of me remember daylight and standard so I don't know which season is which, but whichever is the one where the sun sets at fucking 4:30 pm is just so devastating to me. Seasonal depression is a real illness, and my psychiatrist has me work on a dozen different routines and practices to fight off the severe disruption to my circadian rhythm every winter. So I wanna get rid of that one. That would be Standard Time. And yeah, this is actually the reason a number of states still switch twice a year, the federal DST law gave states the ability to opt-out of DST, but not to stay on DST.

I moved here for my now wife and seeing the way people act has got me wishing to go back to Europe. I loved it here before people started showing blind faith in someone so wrong so often. I swear so many people I thought were good people have shown me just how little they care for anyone other than themselves. I dunno, I think everyone should be raised to be like that in a sense, granted I think people should be able to ask for help if they need it. I don't think it is healthy to suffer a tragedy and break when you could be trying to make things better.bI am not implying that people shouldn't feel emotions, nor should they bury them, but you can feel pain and sadness and try to be a useful human at the same time. If you go overseas they are also likely sniffing for cash. I’ve seen a few of them and have even been a plant for one while they were training it while getting on a plane. You're right, Customs has a lot of various detector dogs for the various products that can be brought into the country, beyond just their cash dogs and drug dogs. They also have a surprisingly high number of dogs that sniff for animal and plant smuggling (both live specimens and products derived from them), which I think are my favorite. I love picturing a dog just having his job be to look for fruits and veg and such. The hardest thing I've ever done was not pat that little dog in its vest.
