So those with a house got an effective lotto winning in capital gains compared to those without who now have to pay an extra 300-400k to get a house or exorbitant rent to pay for someone else's rental. Extremely limited increases to health funding (insufficient to maintain infrastructure, let alone expand services), limited education funding, lots of money spent on big road projects, little spent on public transport, and a reduction in income tax (a progressive tax) and an increase in GST (sales;VAT) (a regressive tax).

Another strange tale from the arctic regions: Many years ago my dad was working on an engineering project in Kangerlussuaq - the location of Greenland's biggest airport. Same. Although I didn’t get to do much gaming during my treatments... my chemo and immunotherapy regimen required Benadryl so I slept during a good portion of my treatment time. I guess it’s just not something that I ever really thought about before, but it’s really cool to know there are so many other people out there like myself that have gone through this and bond over gaming. If I remember correctly it’s a reference to the founding myth of Rome. There’s a response where the wishes say “kill it” or something to that effect. The right answer is “thanks” it recalls the mother wolf who keeps her child safe with her mouth.
